DST vs PES vs JEF — Which Embroidery File Format Do You Need?
Share
When you order embroidery digitizing, the final file comes in a specific format that your embroidery machine can read. But which format is right for you? DST Format — Tajima machines use this format. It is the most universal format and works with many commercial embroidery machines. If you are unsure, DST is a safe choice. PES Format — This is the format for Brother embroidery machines. If you own a Brother machine or use a Brother-compatible service, always request PES files. JEF Format — Janome machines use JEF format. Always check your machine brand before ordering. VP3 Format — Husqvarna Viking and Pfaff machines use VP3 files. XXX Format — Singer machines use this format. At Advance Digitizing, we deliver your digitized file in any format you need — just let us know your machine brand when you place your order. We support all major embroidery machine formats at no extra charge.
